Checkpoint 29 is just before an intense escape phase for the girl, supposedly the cause of multiples game over.
Plus the use of the cannon at the top of the tower in the middle of the mazer area, is necessary to pass this phase.
But the respawn point of the robot is IN the tower and not ON TOP of it.
This lead to situation where the player want to redo the difficult phase he just failed, goes in it directly with the girl, and when he have to quickly fire the cannon, he switch to the robot, and realize is one level too low.

I recommend to put the respawn point of the robot next to the cannon.

Yes, I know about that.
The reason why the robot starts IN the tower is to avoid a bug due to checkpoint.
The checkpoint system as of now can rewinds a device to their original state or fastfoward a device to their end states if the player dies.
If you noticed the room in the tower has a lever switch for the device that operate the 3 iron gates surrounding the room.
If the player dies and the checkpoint fastfoward the device to its end state, the gates are blocking access to the top of the tower. The robot would be stuck at the top if he were to spawn there (no access to the lever).

I don't know if you understand, but anyway, I will review the whole checkpoint system in our next game so it's more flexible to levels that requires backtracking.
