Good Queen Bad Queen

I saw some of the concept art for the good queen and had a disturbing thought.

Please, please PLEASE, tell me the good queen doesn't end up turning into the bad queen, perhaps as some adverse reaction to using the robots! It would be unspeakably abhorrent if the girl had to fight her own mother!

There is a definitive connection between the good queen and evil queen. Unfortunately I can't confirm that it's the same person at this point, this will be revealed in the game.
