The cut scene added in 0.007 is great, but I noticed that the girl's lips look a little funny when she first looks up and smiles at the robot; kind of like a cat's lips. I assume that you'll smooth out the graphics in later versions though.
At the same time, the cut scene really doesn't tell us anything we don't already know, mainly that the robot is somehow connected to the amulet, and maybe give the robot a little bit more personality. However, I must admit that the more times I watch it, the more the cut scene grows on me and the more I've been able to infer about the story. For one thing, we can see that the robot apparently can move on its own to some degree, but for some reason chooses not to without being called upon by the amulet, and that he is devoted to the girl; not necessarily whoever holds the amulet. Think about it. The evil queen obviously had access to the amulet if she was able to guard it, but didn't use it. Why? And why was the robot locked in a cage. Obviously she must not have been able to control him. But he obeys the girl instead. That means his personality is such that he is devoted to the girl and her alone.
Finally, the music is wonderful. At first I thought it didn't mesh with the pieces that came before it, but it does accurately capture the magic of the scene and the friendship that is going to bud through this game. The only problem I have with it though is that it seems too short, and ends abruptly when you re-enter the tower to go to the elevator room. Is there any way you could extend the music so we could enjoy it for longer? (I notice that in general there is a lack of music through most of the game, on the one hand allowing the player to focus, but on the other not setting any sort of emotional scene.)
